octane scatter driven by maps

hi guys,

i am trying to use scatterer with dirt to drive the position of the instances.
dirt goes through colour correction a mix map.

i thought i might copy it into the shader under parameters. cant seem to find a way.

i hope someone can help me.

Hi,
you can use a c4d AO shader to obtain a baked map:
0D9AAAE4-F2EF-4E8B-A158-C094F025AAD6.jpeg
and then use the map to scale/distribute the clones:

fantastic,

i was trying to bake from octane, did not know how the c4d tag worked.
