Hi,

now I tried with 387.92 (I've read in another post)
But when launching Octane Bench I now get Cuda 716 Error

Before --- see my other post please!

Maybe my ASRock X99 Formula OC 3.1 board is totally broken ....

thanks Mike

You might get more help if you post in the main forum (or perhaps there is an OB forum) since this is a Cinema 4D dedicated forum.

I'm only working with C4D and Octane.
Never touched Standalone Version.

This problem occures on my Slave-Mashine .
And now I get these tons of Cuda-Errors also with the slave daemon exe.

Other Cuda-Errors are also reported and answered in this C4D forum.
So why not mine?

regards
Mike

Hi Mike,
please try to perform a clean installation of 388.13 Nvidia drivers:

Hi Beppe,

388.13 is running on all my other mashines fine.

When I've reinstalled a fresh Win 10 (formatted hd) on my problematic Slave (X99 OC Formula) Windows automaticly has installed 388.13
Always for me first thing after a fresh installation, if device manager shows all GPUs and Drivers properly, is to run OctaneBench.

First Cuda 700 Error appears.

Then I made a clean install ( with DDU) with 387.92 (you recommended in another post)
Without any NVidia vision etc. stuff - only driver

Now lots of different Cuda Errors!!!

????
I have to RMA this Board because of a broken PCIe-Slot "2"
(This Slot is empty right now)

Do you think, that the Board itself could cause all these problems?

thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,
unfortunately it is quite a mess with X99 +Win 10+Nvidia drivers with CUDA 9:

The only thing that comes to my mind is to try to install Win 7 on another ssd, to see if you have more stability with this configuration.

hmmm I thought its mostly a problem with boards with PLX-Chips (PLX? not sure, but you know what I mean)

Will try first Octane R7.

thanks
Mike
