hey i just downloaded and installed the newestbuild for Blender Octane and it wont let me render, not in the image or in the viewport, and it wont recognize my two GPU's

My first inclination is that your video drivers are old and might be using an old version of CUDA. That would be my first step in fixing the issue. Also it helps if you put a list of your hardware, driver version, etc. in your signature line. That way we can quickly see possible issues.

Hi,
I have the same issue ... Unable to choose gpu and refresh gpu list, unable to clic on network preference. I don't thik so it comes from drivers, my video drivers is 397.64. In my otoy profile my licences are activated. I don't understand ... Am i missing something ?

mattafeller fixed it by never letting GEForce Experience chose your drivers.
Download them from the NVIDIA website.

The error you are getting is saying that there is a version difference between Octane Server and the custom Blender version. Did you stop and restart Octane Server?

It seems to be a local character sets issue in some specific platforms, which would cause a mismatch version number between server and client.

It has been in the internal tests, hopefully will be released publicly next week.
