3ds Max render scene "SLOW"

I’m trying to evaluate Octane for my workflow in 3Ds max. I am able to texture and setup a simple scene and animate it. My only problem is when I go to render the scene. The frame renders instantly but the current task takes 1:33 min… What am I doing wrong? I looked over the manual and I can’t find any explanation for this. I’m running Max 2015.. I really want to use this plugin but it needs to save time not create time.

Sorry I don't have any screen capture software on my PC so I just pulled out the camera.

Hi TylerADC,
you could take a look at this to start:
https://help.otoy.com/hc/en-us/articles ... or-3ds-max
https://help.otoy.com/hc/en-us/articles ... Cheatsheet
https://docs.otoy.com/3DSMaxH/3DSMaxPluginManual.htm
Octane render is progressive, you choose sample to render or if you want set sample to 160000 (as in your clip), then you should activate adapting sampling in Kernel panel.

So turning down the samples is the solution.
