PV crashes when saving passes enabled

I have been working on an animation for the last week or so and today I started to set it up for rendering passes tests, but as soon as I enable the option in the render settings It manages to render a few frames in a sequence, then it crashes.
It still works fine if I dont enable passes and just use a TIFF sequence for example.
Attached is the crash log - first part is a tiff sequence only, then the second part is with passes enabled.
I can see that its suggesting to lower the subdivision levels, but I only have one thing subdivided and at a level of 1 in the renderer - even if I turn it off it still gives the same error?
I have also attached my kernel settings and the passes I am trying to render out.
Any thoughts or help would be highly appreciated - the work is for a client and so confidential, so I cant really upload the file.
Thanks

Sorry here is the crash log:

Also, some things I have tried that seem to have made no difference:
Installing older drivers / installing older versions of Octane / disabling the GPU that is connected to the display in Octane / removing any geometry that is not in shot or uses a cloner.
Im a bit of a loss here!

Is it up to a specific scene? Did you tried on 3.08?

Thanks for the quick response.
It seems to be that scene - I tried another from a different project and it was working without crashing.
I updated to 3.08 and the same thing happened - attached is the crash log for that attempt.
Im a bit stumped as to what is causing this? Im going to start taking objects away and see if I can pin point if one of them is causing the crashing.
Any other thoughts in the meantime would be great as this is a current project for a client.
Thanks

I noticed that on the crash log at the start of the crashing file it comes up with the repeated line of
Tried to access pin via invalid ID P_TRANSFORM (243)
Tried to access null node pin
This didnt happen on the other scene I tried out - could this be an indication of a cause to the issue?
Thanks

So I stripped out all of the geometry and the problem is still happening?
Here is the file with just lights/hdri and a camera inside - and its still rendering a few frames then failing with the same error (log attached)

I don't suppose that, I'm gonna test your scene.

Your sample file rendered OK on
Mac 10.12.4
C4dR17
Octane - 3.08stable
Shot in the dark, do you think it could have anything to do with rendering into dropbox?
Perhaps syncing is interacting with it in a weird way?

OK i've had some success here - the dropbox suggestion didnt work, but I switched to the same settings as you: R17 and 3.08 and it seems to be working with all the files I have tested.
One problem with this though is that earlier on in my animation im using almebic file sequences from houdini - which use an alembic tag for their UV info that isnt supported by R17 but is by R19 (and R18).
So I really do need to figure out the reason why R19 is crashing with the same files in the same render version, on the same machine.
Any thoughts or suggestions? Really appreciate the help!
- on a side note it did crash in R17 using 3.07 - crash log attached
