Bugs 3.08 - 15.0 [TEST]

hi,

thanks for the update.

(The Fix for not uploading of hidden geometry is great. ). After doing some more tests I don't see much difference between 3.07 and 3.08 in terms of geometry hiding at all.
The Fix for hidden shaders isn't working for me. All shaders get uploaded on the first time.

Sheen option is missing for the relevant shaders.

Response Curve type in the octane imager settings of older blender files isn't loaded.
Could the octane imager presets of interactive mode and camera please be linked.
At the moment you have to make presets for both. Quite time consuming...

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but switching from combined to any other preview render pass (from the dropdown menue list) than noise
will retrigger the rendering of the live preview. Switching to noise pass will stop/pause the rendering at the max samples in the renderpass settings.
Only after switching back to combined, the rendering will resume the rendering to the max. samples defined in the kernel settings.

Hi,

I noticed some instabilities.
For some scene, when I used the 3.07 old version, all worked fine but with the new version 3.08 - 15.0, I had often an Octane server error (cuda 700 or 719) on device 0.

I can't find any reason in the Blender trace log.

Hi. When opening a scene that I've been working on in 3.07-14.0 into 3.08-15.0 along with the response curve not loading
there is also a big difference in rendering time and vram usage between the two distributions using the same .blend file.
When using the preview mode with the the Octane imagers in 3.08-15.0 the NVIDIA driver will crash about 3/4 way through
the samples I've set for it. The NVIDIA driver will not crash when not using the Octane imager. After this I can not shut
down the Octane server with a right click on the Octane icon in the tray, I have to use the task manager to stop the Octane
server process.
