These are not a reason for render problems. I can't see anything to estimate what's your problem. Please define it better with images and your experience.

Hey Aoktar,

I have a big scene and it works in the preview window but it doesn't render to the picture viewer, nothing happens, it is preparing and preparing but that doesn't do anything.
I am currently removing stuff from the scene to check where it goes wrong but I almost removed everything.

Ok,

I have posted this question on the facebook page before but it seems to have something to do with the c4d hair.
I read your link but I don't know how to implement it on the scene to get it to work...
As soon as I disable the hair on my character and on another object it renders.

Also I added the standard hair to a sphere and rendered it, didn't work, it seems like something is not right with the hair.

Also if I copy the bear I use with the hair into an empty scene it just works..

You may have extreme amount of hairs. Where do you in rendering? Live viewer or picture viewer?

I have a lot of hairs but both the character and the bear can be rendered in a scene by themselves in live viewer and picture viewer.
In the complete scene I see it only working in the live viewer, picture viewer doesn't work.

51000 hairs does the character have and the bear only 1500
Could it be a memory thing? I have a 11gb 1080ti

I read it like 20 times already but it doesn't change anything.

-The characters work in a separate scene, in live viewer, in picture viewer.
-If I disable the hair in the big scene it renders to the picture viewer.

I am already 2 days into trouble shooting this issue I want it fixed, I don't understand why it just fails.
Also I removed the character and the bear from the big scene and added a sphere with hair, also fails to render to the picture viewer unless I drastically reduce the hair count.

I am getting kind off frustrated by this, it is a memory thing or something I guess.
I have lots of hair but the link you provided I just do not see how to implement this, the character works in a clean scene so...and it renders really smooth and fast in there.
Can I send you the file perhaps that will clear things up..

I've got it.
It has nothing to do with the hair.
It is an update issue or preparing thing, the sequence is about 1800 frames long and if I set my beginning time to something like frame 1600 it started to render pretty fast.
Good to know perhaps for other people in the future.

finaly!
