Hi We use 3ds max and octane renders Phoenix FD splash and foam as 3d mesh making rendering very slow and foam not round because having a high poly mesh makes rendering VERY slow. Do you also render Houdini foam and splash as mesh or it is procedurally generated like vray does ? Thank you

Hi,

You could render them as mesh, as particles and perhaps even as volumes. It is hard to say without a sample scene, but I'm fairly sure that several workflows are possible.

Thanks,

Thank you! I cant believe you render render them as volumes. They told us that 3ds max and Phoenix FD can only render them as mesh for some reason.
