When I use an Octane tag with X-Particles and set it to render sphere it appears in live viewer but not render.
Any idea why?

My guess is that the sphere in the hierarchy has the two red lights indicating it is hidden from both viewport and render. Try unchecking those lights, and moving the sphere out of view of the camera if it is in the way.

Hi,

If 'perfect sphere' is checked in attributes of sphere object, uncheck it. Octane is unable to render perfect sphere in PV.

Have you tried in particles somethings else of unvisible objects as your sphere?

I don't understand what's the problem with your file. For me it works fine, i have orange spheres in the PV. I've just pushed render in PV...

Ugh, no idea what's going on. Tried a different object, re-installed C4D and even updated Nvidia drivers but still not showing up in PV/render.
I'm stumped!

Any other thoughts on this?
Unfortunately going to have to ditch Octane if I can't get this to work.

It's working here too. Cinema up to date? XP up to date?

Try to add render passes and see if this solves it, I had also a black image in the PV and after adding render passes it magically appeared.
