From multiple bug

Hello,

I have multiple bugs with octane, for example rendering, there are polygons that are 100% black or the light illuminates the other side of the face (wall).

Otherwise, when I modified my file of the 3D object and I re-import, octane does not want to refresh the scene, therefore obliged every time to disconnect and reconnect for it to work.

For material octane, sometimes it removes the parameters I just made.

Thank you.

Sorry for my bad English.

Olivier

Hi Oliver,

no need to apologize, I was able to understand your message just fine.
I have multiple bugs with octane, for example rendering, there are polygons that are 100% black or the light illuminates the other side of the face (wall).
Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you are referring to?
Otherwise, when I modified my file of the 3D object and I re-import, octane does not want to refresh the scene, therefore obliged every time to disconnect and reconnect for it to work.
Yes, this is definitely an issue. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
For material octane, sometimes it removes the parameters I just made.
Are you using an Octane PBR override shader in Unity, or are you modifying the standard/standard (specular) shaders? The Unity shaders will be reset to their default parameter configuration in the Octane graph. If you have this problem with an Octane PBR override shader, that's an issue we'd have to look into.

My project is under construction, but I test Octane in advance to try

These bugs, I have a little everywhere in my building.
I use Unity texture material without texture and I also tested with your Octane material but it always does the same problem.

Would it be possible to send me your Unity project? I'd like to check your objects in detail so that we can see with the cause of the problems is, and provide you with a solution.

I could not provide my project but I put you another 3D object that has the same problem (as shown in the image above).

Here is the link to download : https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B_rbw ... GJPYTdvN2c

I hope this is not a problem ?

Thank you.

The issue seems te be resolved on our end. We'll release a new version of the project after it has passed our internal testing phase.
