Texture baking for Unity

Hello, I've been looking for further info on rendering to texture in Unity using Octane. I thought I could use Octane in place of the existing lightmapper but I can't find very much info on how I would do this. Octane doesn't seem show up in Unity's "lighting" menu and the only hint in the PBR Rendertarget I created is the "Render to Texture" slot. I've set my camera to "Baking Camera" and I can see my lightmaps baking in that slot, but I don't know how to apply that "Render to Texture" texture to my scene. Are there any videos or tutorials on this?

There aren't any tutorials yet, we're still working in adding baking properly to the project.

Ok, thanks for the quick reply.

Is it possible to bake in 3ds Max using render to texture? Are there any tutorials/videos on that?

Hi mytherapy,
If you are using material converter (Render Setup > tools > open Octane global preferences ), you can use automatic bake texture tool
and find the baked textures in the assigned folders.

Hello, thanks for the responses -

Paride4331 - are you talking about this as part of the rendering workflow in 3ds max?

Has there been any news on baking lightmaps directly in Unity using Octane, and does the PBR RenderTarget "baking camera" integrate with Unity lightbaking at all?
