zDepth Pass in 3.06

Hi guys
Im having trouble getting a zDepth pass out for compositing in Nuke
we'keep getting artefacts around curved edges on objects inside the scene, which don't edge to an alpha channel.
Im rendering to 32bit EXR file with no compression
Linear options in the the Octane Render Pass settings etc.
Camera tag has Camera Imager enabled, with Linear option and gamma 2.2
what settings should I look at to clean up the zpass?
