Here is a render of Topmodel Updo Hair and OOT Hairblending 2.0 for Genesis 3 Females from OutOfTouch artist.
I have used and modified all settings without being able to solve the problem.
If you have ever encountered this kind of issue, I hope you can help me.
1st rendering done with Iray shaders.
2nd rendering done with RedSpec specific shaders
3rd rendering done with the Iray engine

Reduce the Kernel->Ray Epsilon.

Hi Paul,
I already tweaked Ray Epsilon to minimum but it doesn't work.
I attached a full screen of my settings

Try increasing the size of the object that is not rendering. It may not visible because it shares the same vertex locations as the hair prob. If that does not work, can you pls export the scene to ORBX and send to me.
Thanks
Paul

That scene renders fine for me. Have you got Preferences->"Automatic Calculation of Ray Epsilon" OFF?

Yes Paul,
So I notice that is not a real issue.
Thank you so much

I'm also having a problem with this hair, in fact I think it affects all recent OOT hair with hair blending, but this one is by far the worst, I just have to make parts of them not visible and the black stuff starts to show up. The hair(s) also seem to render extremely slowly, this image only rendered at 0.99Ms/sec using PT.
Rey Epsilon is 0.000001 (auto setting off), changing it doesn't seem to do anything much.

The OOT hairs have pretty complex mesh geometry and opacity maps, which take OctaneRender a while to calculate.
I've also come to experience this. However, I don't believe, that this is different in Iray.
I cannot reproduce the appearance of the hair in the screenshot above with out shaders. Could this be displacement maps?
I've used the same hair figure in this shot here and it really rendered fine:

It's not displacement, I get the same thing in clay mode or with a blank white mat. I've also tried it with Iray and Octane standalone, standalone has the black stuff the same as OcDS, Iray is fine and without issue. I've even updated my drivers.
