Please add animatable aperture and other options in octane camera roll out. We use regular camera because creating octane camera you have to redo all settings done in octane render camera roll out. Or at least a sync button that syncs all camera options with octane render cam roll out

Hi guys,
they seem to work well with 3dsmax camera.
Why you do not use the camera Octane?
it also works well in animation, post processing, f-stop, etc you can animate them in 3dsMax timeline.

we do not use octane camera because every time we create octane camera all settings are defaulted and do not match octane render dialog settings Can we get at least sync octane camera settings to octane render camera settings

Hi coilbook,

May be this could help:

1/Make a reference octane camera.
2/make a copy of this cam (to not loose the ref cam)
2/Select camera (without target)
3/In perspective view use ctrl+c (it will move you're ref octane cam to match the pers view)

Anyway a "sync button" or "paste tonemap to camera" button is a good idea ...

Hi coilbook,
I'm sorry to contradict you, but every time you create a new Octane camera, it has the previous Octane camera settings.
But, I personally find the connection between Octane Renders's camera/imager settings, via Render Setup window, and camera/imager, in the 3dsMax's object modify, unintuitive and chaotic.
As for perspective correction, now works, I hope new developers will fix it better than now, and as soon as possible.
