Modo 501 SP1 = No PlugIn Button

Hi

I just installed Modo 501 SP1 and the 1.05 Octane PlugIn but i got no Octane button in Modo. Any hints?

Hi, Assuming win7... if you add a tab, or split a window in modo and then left click the top rhs little triangle (in the window or tab) to change the window type, go to Utility - octane_render_exporter will come up. Select that.
Then that tab/window will be configured as per the script. You may beed to reset where the Octane exe is and the render export directories etc.. but it should work.
At least thats what I've done.

ps the octane 1.024 beta 244 and 22b versions don't seem to export or associate the textures to to model properly. ie You get a rgb shader ilo image..
(although the text. names are there.)
pre243 does work, but may not be stable for production projects.
I've yet to get more info to see if its a bug or something I'm doing wrong.

Just upgraded to SP3 and everything seems to have stopped working. I have lost the menubar item but can find the script by doing some sneaky form editing. However when I export I get a command line error, I cannot read it as the window crash box covers it. I have tried this on several scenes and have had no luck.

Just done some more tests and it seems to be exporting a 1kb file.

Any ideas please?
