Anyone have ideas of how to make this better? Just not coming across as "real" for me. Thanks.

Maybe play with Gamma, on both?...
I'm not an expert on stained glass, but aren't they usually made with lead (Pb), holding all the glass pieces together, where your textures are currently lighter, and thus should be dark/opaque?

The stained glass effect can be done through the "fake shadows" checkbox in the window's texture image. This fake shadow effect can be influenced by the environment and lights in the scene.
See attached for an example. Fake shadows is also a good way to emulate the effect of Light changing color as it passes through surfaces without complicated setups.

Yes indeed, I hadn't got that far yet

Was not getting the look I wanted so hadn't fixed the light surrounds from my photoshop of an image.
I'll try using fake shadows to see if that will help. Thanks.
