When I add render passes diffuse and diffuse filter, render it using Octane render viewport and save image only beauty image gets correct gamma, diffuse and diffuse filter gets wrong gamma, but if I click port to framebuffer button I get correct gamma on all passes.
I use 3dsmax 2014,I applied 3dsmax gamma hack, set in preference settings of 3dsmax gamma to 2.2 and in imager settings applied nonlinear tone mapping also during save I set gamma Override to 2.2.

EDIT

Ok when I set in preference settings of 3dsmax gamma to 1.0 everything else stays the same like in first part of my post, everything gets saved correctly.

Well done on resolving the issue. Indeed, you will want to ensure that the gamma setting in 3ds Max is set to 1.0, to ensure that any gamma settings you do in the plugin behave correctly. This is due to changes to how gamma works in the plugin, going back to 2.24.2 - 2.16.
