Hello,

This personal project is intended as an experiment in photogrammetry and simple 360 VR, shots rendered using Path tracing. I am also including 2 cube renders for those who are interested in trying it in gear vr as well, please note that photo_01 and photo_02 are reference photographs for comparison. Also of note is that I also have done other renders using Direct lighting, and for for the most part they look the same (no surprise since it is based on photogrammetry) I would happily provide further renders for those interested. I also have done V-Ray renders just to compare results. I am also currently working on creating a full vr using UE4 and will have something to share soon.

Some info on the model and location.

The area known as the Citadel sits on the highest hill in Amman, Jebel al-Qala’a (about 850m above sea level), and is the site of ancient Rabbath-Ammon. Occupied since the Bronze Age, it's surrounded by a 1700m-long wall, which were rebuilt many times during the Bronze and Iron Ages, as well as the Roman, Byzantine and Umayyad periods

Model is around 5 Million polys with an average render time of 2 or so minutes for 800-900 smp/pix, any comments and suggestions are welcomed.
