I am curious how the VolumeMedium node is working. There is some interesting inversion that seems to happen and causes some cool falloff looking things when playing with the relationships of Density and Volume Step Length.
Is there any documentation on the Volume medium and the sub slots like scattering, Absorption, and emission ramps?

especially about the density of the vdb file in relation to the ramps. the writeup is expressed in terms of the standalone though but would be similar concept in plugin editions.
