I have been trying to test the dem version on my Powerbook running 10.6.6 and using a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT.
I installed the cuda 3.0.14 developer driver, but when I launch Octane I get the message:

"Octane Render 1.022 beta 2.2 cannot be opened..."
"Check with the vendor..."

have you also installed the cuda 3.0 toolkit?

I have octane 1.022 on my hackintosh (i5 and GTX 285) with 10.6.6 CUDA ToolKit 3.0 and CUDA driver 3.2 and it works flawless.

If im not wrong you must set permissions. Start octane from terminal then you will se more info.

Thanks all, I think that my system was having issues with the 3.2 toolkit.
I installed the 3.0 version and it's all working now.
