Hey,
Just pick a material in the livedb and drag it into your nodegraph editor panel, then double click it to open the macro and see inside,
you should be able to inspect how it works and just click on the nodes inside it to preview the texture or material on that level of the nodegraph, so you can see what each node looks like on the material ball, and how it influences eachother.
The manual also explains what all nodes do.

Hi, I have a problem with glass. I've tried to use a Clear glass from livedb, but it still not working. What I meen is, why light don't pass through the glass? Why on the other side is dark? For tests I use a two sphere one in the second. And here what I get:
Please tell me what I should change to get a normal window with a light on the other side?

This is not possible at moment with sun light, you need a mesh light or a hrd light.
We all waiting for this.
Cheers, mib

Also check your path depth. Pathtracing defaults to 16 levels but for something as complex as your model, this may need to be increased.
