Hey guys, before I begin I've watch Dobromir Dyankov training on vimeo as well as their Understand Octane Render video and followed along nicely however I noticed that some images when rendered and showed on my monitor and laptop it seems fine however when I transfer them to my iPhone 6s the colors are all crushed as if the gamma were all set to 1.0?

Here's the setting what I've used:
Project Settings tab:
Linear workflow = checked
Input Color Profile = Disabled

Octane Camera Tab:
Gamma = 2.2
Response = Linear

Render Settings/ Octane Render Tab:
Render buffer type = Float Buffer

Render Pass Tab:
Image Color Profile = Linear
Tonemap Type = Linear

Animation:
.TGA 8bit/
.PNG 8/16bit

Stills:
.PSD 16/32bit

What seems to be an issue? I'm confused. I used these settings for both DL/PT depending on the project.
Could it be my monitor or the render buffer type?

I've attached a sample render.

Thanks !

it's linear for output when you use floatbuffer, tonemapped. neither of other params are accounted. Not important to change gamma, response. Also scene color profile is just for color swatchs. Not directly affects the rendering, jus play a role for converting user color inputs.
also if you use linear and save as jpg, png so you accept this wrong results for your monitor. You should set your images in linear color space.

TBH I'm still confused so basically doesn't matter if I stick to float,tone or 8bit buffer?
As for .jpg and .png I aways set it to linear color space in PS or AE

What's your target? Just use default settings with "floatbuffer" if you need recompose the render passes. Be sure all linear in save color profiles and don't use png or jpg. Stick with tiff, psd, ext and linear on passes.
