Motion-blur on RBD objects?

Hey guys,

So i'm playing with octane for houdini, and motion-blur seems to work fine on regularly animated objects, but doesn't do anything on RBD objects.
Tried coming up with some way to get it to work myself, but it's just not doing anything.

Is it not possible, or am I missing something?

Do you have the deformation motion blur parameter enabled in the Octane ROP node?

Ahh, that seems to do the trick.
Thanks a lot!

Deformation motion blur seems to significantly increase rendertimes. Is there a way to do this with regular motion blur?

The plugin can use the "v" velocity attribute to compute the motion blur if it is available in the object. This should be faster, at least from the scene extraction point of view.

Thanks,
