I just set up my new workstation.

It`s on Windows 7 Prof. 64 Bit.

I installed Cinema R17 and the newest update to R17.048.
I installed Octane Standalone 2.25
I installed C4D Plugin 2.25 R3

CInema loads very quick during 1 Second thanks to my new Samsung m.2 950 Pro SSD stuck directly on my Asrock X99 WS-E.
Octane Menu is also available.

But when i call Setting from there, the Settings Window pops on with scrumbled stange looking lines and the whole application crashes.

Can anyone help me?

May it be my Win 7 is too old? I dont wanna use Win10 or either Win 8 since they are full of Spyware.
I installed from an original old Win7Prof64Bit Disk.

Many people and me run on W7. I can't see any helpful information in words. Does Standalone run? Do you see what in c4d about octane? Console output, crash report?

yes, the standalone is running.

Don't know, i'm not there. Please just show somethings more to understand what you mean.

Thats what it looks like after calling Octane Settings from Octane Menu

Did you deleted other versions of plugin *.cdl64 files?
Did you make a clean install?
What happen when you call first LV window?
What do you see in Console window at the startup?

yes, installation is clean. this machine has not seen any other c4d or octane version before.....
when i call lLV first this happens - see picture

try a render to see is it working?
Please show me console output! Also put your "res" directory as packed to check it.

when i render in picture viewer of cinema with octane selected as renderer cinema lso crashes.
how / where can i see console output?

Script->Console. This output is first place to check when you have problems.
It seems not working due somethings wrong on driver, dlls, etc...
