ANIMATION in MODO

Hi Guys, got one question....
how octane is working when the animation is set in modo? Is the mesh need to be LOAD in octane each frame?
I set the animation in Modo, the timeline shows everything and I hit render in Octane... I see that Octane is taking every frame as single load.
What am I looking for is a setup when Octane is just rendering on the fly... like when you are moving camera... it doesn't have to loading all meshes in scene again.
How can I setup this thing to make it faster in animation ?

Thanks a lot and sorry for my english ;)

Camera fly-thrus (where geometry does not change) should be supported, however I just did a quick test of this and found a glitch which is causes meshes to be reloaded - which I will fix in the next release. When working correctly, you should be able to tick Kernel->Load All Frames Into Octane, and untick all Meshes Reload Mesh Each Frame When Animating. You can get around this at the moment by ticking Preferences->Octane->User Render Cache, however pls be aware there are some limitations when using the render cache (https://docs.otoy.com/Modo/?page_id=1113). More info on animation is available at https://docs.otoy.com/Modo/?page_id=998.

Hello!
Same here, I can't render a character animated with joints. No refresh, all the frames are the same. I did use the default live geometry update, the load all frames into Octane and finaly I enabled the use modo render cache. Nothing works...
Any idea?

You need to untick Load All Frames into Octane (explained in the link in the above post). If you are still having problems, pls send me your scene.

Thanks
