Luminace as in C4D by texture?

Hello

I am quite new to octane an now i have a question. All i want is ot render a singel plane with a selfiluminated image on it, like i would do it in cinema 4d with the luminance in the material editor. So what i mean is, on the material i just place the image in the luminace of the material, turn every other channel of the material off an render it without any lightsource. So i get only the clean image in 3D-space.
Now i need to do that in the octane renderer, because i need a spherical camera, but i don't get the material to be selfiluminated. How can i do that?

Thanks so far an greetings from Germany
Asta

Add texture emission on octane material. Turn off "cast illumination". Put your to image emission->texture->imagetexture.

I don't understand anything of what you said, could you please explain this more detailed? I'm also new to octane and I need fire in a fireplace to look like it's luminating.
