How to use Render Queue properly?

Hello guys! How are you doing?
So, i just finished this animation that contains 10 different takes, each take on a different scene containing one camera. After getting all of them ready i though of trying the render queue!
here are my experiences:
I generally set the passes in the octane render options(render settings>octane render) and disable saving through cinema 4d, this keeps my files in a cleaner fashion, plus i don't get some sort of secondary compression in my files like:octane>cinema>final output.. Also to avoid compression problems or bitdepth... dithering etc.
my saving format is exr.
When i render a animation form the animation viwer, it works perfecly, files go to their folders nicely. only outputing from the octane render settings.
When i try to use the render queue it's like it's not understanding the octane preferences and saves other files with names that were greyed out as my "save"dialog from cinema 4D was uncheckd.
Do you guys have any idea on how to proceed or make my workflow better?
thank you very much for you time.
Cheers
Raf
