Usin Octane for Archviz

Hi guys, I have been doing architectural visualization for over 10 years. Used C4d all the time. Switched to vray for c4d about 5-6 years ago. I really like it, but since I purchased Samsung Gear VR, I wanted to render 3d VR panoramas, which is not yet supported in the current vray for c4d (although in the next version it will be). So I quickly purchased a GeForce Quadro K620 grapics card, and downloaded Octane for c4d and Octane standalone. I have been playing with Octane for the last 2 days, watched the video tutorials, etc. I am very much impressed and inclined to buy it, however I found some texturing problems that I could not yet solve. Please someone tell me if these can be solved: (maybe I am just too impatient and all these are somewhere in the manuals)
- how to use dirt with colors? (not only greysacle)
- any efficient way to create floortiles, wooden floors, random colored tiles
- possibility of stacking materials with different alpha channel
- layering shaders on top of each other (using c4d layer?)
If these problems can be solved efficiently I am really into buying Octane (although I can throw away my small renderfarm)
Thanks
