Unused materials slow down send to render.

Just a quick query I was unsure about.

I have a scene with a single object in it with one material applied. but i also have a number of native c4d textures in the scene but not applied to anything.
I find that sending the scene to octane takes considerably longer when these materials are present. If i delete them it sends much quicker.

Is there a way to keep unused materials in the scene without it impacting render update times?

Yes, that's correct. We are still sending them without checking usage. It's on my todo list. Will be an optimisation in a next version. But when, don't ask please ;)

Any thoughts on my other query about displacement maps with negative values?
