show textures in viewport?

Hey All,

is it possible to view the textures of octane shaders in the viewport?

It's quite frustrating to work "blind" when aligning uvs / cut through reference planes etc.
And using the old standard-materials for previewing and then switching / converting to octane materials also is quite a hassle.

So is it possible to enable this?

thanks for your help.

should have written that I am using 3dsmax 2011 which doesn't have nitrous.

And neither opengl nor dx 9 / 10 show textures in the viewport. :/

alright I found the solution. :D

If I right click the diffuse / specular material the "show standard map in viewport" option is greyed out.

But if I right click the "rgb image" node the option is available. And turning it on makes the image visible in the viewport.

Currently using directX 10 in 3dsmax 2011.

Thank you guys for your help. :)
