Simply displacement cant work with bump or normal maps.
But seems it can :)

Can I ask (as I'm not sure from either of the node trees), which you're putting into what? Is the displacement going into the mix node? and the bump going in to the material? And Is it one material that you are putting into both inputs of the mix node? Also, what are you putting the mix value at?

hi gordon,
yes, exactly! the trick is to get advantage of the extra node for displacement in the mix material and to use the same material with bump in the double slots of the mix node ;)
Since we use the same material twice, the amount node doesn't have any impact ;)
