Hi Everyone, this is a kitchen project I've been working on for my website portfolio.
Nearly there I think!

Hi Ardri

This is good image here but I would avoid using hotpixel removal because you have lost a lot of quality here. I know it is for show for still details are missing from image. What kernel was used and what render time did you get for this image?

thanks MaTtY631990,

I have turned off hot pixel remover, didnt reaslise that the spinner works in reverse!!

Think it looks much sharper now but render time using the PMC kernel was over 6 hrs!

Yes, much better now, but why use PMC. I would only use PMC if difficult caustics were what you are after.
Pathtracing is optimised a lot and would render this scene a lot faster.

i was under the impression that PMC was just better than path tracing? I usually do studio based renders which render very quickly so am not usually concerned with render time.
I will try it with path tracing and see how much faster it is, cheers.
oh by the way what did you mean by details being missing?

I think that using a low hotpixel value clamps out some detail in the render. There are other options like gi clamp to use which would be better will keep the sharpness. Another option is to try rendering at a larger resolution until it looks good enough and then downsample the render.

Hi
I think it's a nice image but you need to work on your lighting ( no life to it)
The centre cabinet is very flat looking it has no dimensionality , you need to add some lighting to bring out the form of the cabinet. The image in the window is distracting, it looks pasted in.
The lighting above the centre cabinet in the hanging lights does not look correct, you usually can't see the filament in the bulb. I see no effect of the lights on the counter plus photographers usually correct for differences in the color temperature of the lights.
