I just purchased Octane standalone and C4d plugin. Standalone is activated but the plugin gives me a error message "can't connect to the server". Any suggestions?

It may be a server connection problem or blocking by a firewall . What's your versions of plugin and standalone?

It says 2.x on my download page on both products. I installed the latest versions. I also deactivated firewall and the problem persists. Im on Latest OS X Yosemite and MacBook Pro.

What says in C4D script window? Can you open octane log window to see what says?

hmm, what's the collision? Did not you deleted the unnecessary versions of plugin after unpack the package? It describes in readme.txt.

I did now and the only error message left is this one:

Octane Render for Cinema 4D 2.22.2

This is a error because of failed registeration of plugin. Are you giving correct userId(7500xxxxx) on plugin account section?

Yes, of course. Im using same user id and password as I was given in my account. Maybe something went wrong on your side and you should resend me correct login details.

I couldn't figured your problem. I'll point this topic to Fooze. It may take a look for that.
