TRying to render an animation
It renders first frame fine takes a minute or two then just starts kicking out frames ( the exact same one) every second
the animation does not progress
it seems to be just saving out the same frame for as many frames as I set to render ??????

I can jump to any frame on the timeline and render it fine

do you have info passes which is activated?

ok so this is what i figured out maybe u can explain
cuz I had resend only updated objects

instead of Send all scene date

so it worked when i changed it to Send all scene data

BUT
then i wanted to turn on motion blur and it switched it back to resend only updated objects and the animation wouldnt work again.

Also I've been scanning the forums trying to find cohesive info on how to get rid of noise - I went thru all the links you put aside and really found very little info in there about how to actually do it
CAn't you post optimized settings for small medium and large scenes that are a starting point for
filter size
Gi clamp
Coheren ration
static nopise on or off
alpha shadows
path term power

its like impossiple to figure out all these different settings as to what is the best


So how do I turn on th emotion BLur if it keeps not letting me render the animation ???

using octane render 2.20 rc2

I can send scene but not thru here where any one can grab it

why don't try on 2.21.2? If you have same problem, let me know and send me your scene via PM or mail.
Also please don't ask to me ridding noises. I have posted a lot of help for this. There is lot of discussion for methods. Best is to make some practice and tests. But it's easily possible with some tricks and settings. Check this topic: http://render.otoy.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=45341

you can read parameter's info and check what i do to increase render speed. There is a few parameters to do this and only you need to test eachone on some test scenes. What do you expect more?
