Can't render, 'waiting for image'

Hi, I just installed the demo version for blender. I wanted to test if octane is faster then cycles for interior scenes. But I can't get it to render. It just says 'waiting for image' and then nothing happens. I have a 560M card. Any tips?

Hi lucky,
Have you downloaded and installed the OctaneRender Server?
http://render.otoy.com/downloads.php
Blender requires that the OctaneRender Server is installed and running to render,
as this is the "render server" that Blender communicates with to do the rendering.

Hi hellguy
I did install the server. It's active in the systemtray, so it must be running.
I did the following steps.
1 installed the server
2 installed octane for blender
3 started the server
4 started octane for blender
5 activated the addon in preferences
6 changed the renderengine to octane
7 changed the resolution to 500x500
8 clicked render
9 got the message 'waiting for image'
Did I forgot something?

Could you open the system console, and then attempt to render?

Once you have, screenshot the log and post it here.
