CineRender in ArchiCAD 18

Hi Paul,

the Octane plugin is generating its materials from the Archicad Internal-Engine-Material settings now, isn't it?
Is there a plan to let him do this from The CineRender materials?
I'm not very familiar (unfortunately) with C4D itself but AFAIK the settings for this in Archicad are covering
all the settings that are natively in C4D material settings. And Archicad can also import materials from C4D now.
Perhaps you could even use the conversion method already used in C4D-plugin -> Octane?

Greetins,
Artur

Hi Artur

As far as I know, the C4D material for an AC Surface is not available to an ArchiCAD plugin. So I don't believe this would be possible.

...when I render with the CineRender Engine in Archicad, it uses C4D materials in Archicad
and I can even Import them also from an C4D-project:

Don't you have the CineRender in your AC18?

Hi Artur

Rendering plugins (which is what CineRender is) data is not available to other rendering plugins in the ArchiCAD API.
