Lightwave 2015 trial version and Octane

Does the LW 2015 support the Octane plugin? I've loaded up the plugin but can't access the my account for the Octane licence as the Octane website seems to be semi-functional at the moment - except obviously for this forum.

Yes, there is a plugin version for LW 2015.1 that should work without problems ... what is your problem, can't you add the menu branch?

Hi Juanjo, Yes I've added the menu branch but can't get into my account for the plugin license.

Perhaps there is a problem with the licenses server, buy here from Spain it works. Can you enter in your account web page, or is your problem only activating the license from the plugin?

I'm currently running LW11.6 and wanted to see the Octane hair feature in LW 2015 before upgrading to it. So I have a separate installation of of LW2015 but as you can see from the image above, the plugin isn't active yet and I'm not sure why. The .p file and the dll and cfg files are installed. I've just cleared my browser cache and can now get back onto the website.

But in the image I can see the the Octane menu bar is empty, usually because the plugin is not added to the Layout. Do you know if the plugin is added to your LW 2015 layout without problems, with the message "127 plugins found in 1 file"?

Sorted! I was loading the old config file instead of the new one .... idiot! Thanks Juanjo
