OctaneRender™ for Blender 2.15 - 7.0 Linux [OBSOLETE]

The Linux version of OctaneRender™ for Blender plugin, 64-bit.

The bundle consists from two parts:
1. OctaneRender™ Server
2. Blender - OctaneRender™ edition.

The first part (server) should be run on the same computer as the second one..
After the server is run - you can start rendering (or open a rendered view) from inside Blender. Before the very first rendering you should fill in the server address (only 127.0.0.1 at the time), login and password (your license key info) to activate the server. After the first rendering the server will remember this activation info, and you will not need to enter it again.

You should use only OctaneRender materials inside Blender scenes - the plugin knows nothing about Blender specific materials and textures (about any Blender nodes, generally speaking).

FIXES AND NEW FEATURES SINCE LAST RELEASE
  • Switched to 2.15 engine.
  • Octane render passes are implemented.
  • New "Highlight compression" pin in camera imager node.
  • New "Path term. power", "Coherent ratio", "Static noise", "Max speed" pins in kernel nodes.
  • New "Roughness" pin in Diffuse material node.
  • New "Turbulence", "Invert" and "Gamma" pins in Turbulence texture node.
  • New "Hue", "Saturation" and "Contrast" pins in Color Correct texture node.
  • New "Cast illumination" and "Surface brightness" pins in emission nodes.
  • New "Polygon Side" texture.
  • "Distribution" pin of emission nodes is now "Emission pattern"
  • The emission sampling rate can now be set to "0".
  • Removed obsolete "Brightness scale" and "Black level" pins from Color Correct texture node.
  • Removed obsolete "RRprob" pin from kernel nodes.
  • Removed obsolete "Fstop" and "ISO" pins from the camera imager node.
  • Exposure of the camera imager now is scaled differently, so be prepared to that when opening the old scenes in this version.
  • Minor fixes...

How did you install the plugin? Using auto-installer or manually?
It looks like you don't have the liboctane.so in your /usr/lib folder.

Hi, thanks for the update (Git too!).
I have a strange error, when I render a file, old or new setup, no objects are rendered only background.
If I switch "Autofocus" off and select one object it render all objects.
If I switch "Autofocus" on again it still work.

I am using auto-installer.

Cheers, mib
