I love the animation and the model.
I think some SSS would really make it look sweet.

Thanks, yes some sub-surface scattering would really help to sell the small scale of the character. I might revisit that if I get time. I didn't solve the displacement issue in the end, I just used a higher resolution mesh and then a normal map.
