May I suggest testing with the latest (2.13) release, and if it is still an issue, post the problem to the 2.13 test thread at

hi, have you tried to play with the ray epsilon value in the kernel node?
it dramatically change the dirt effect when displacement is active

i have the same issue with ray epsilon to zero ..

you need to augment it not reduce it

here is an example:
at the default value
and with ray epsilon at 0.1
