Save as Preset Not working

I just noticed the save as preset button in the Override panel. I tried it by clicking the root, then saving it with the button. Then go to a different scene and drag and drop it in. And it keeps giving me the error, failed to load image, then the file location.

I got it to work by right clicking on the override I created in modo then saving it as an assembly. But when I load that up, it duplicates nodes funny so I have to delete the duplicates.

Hi Cody - the manual details the correct process for loading a preet - http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Modo/?page_id=839. I will add more info to the tooltip in Modo to make this clearer.

I got it working. But why is the save as preset options disabled somtimes? I feel like then I try everything and it won't ever let me reenable it again. Error message just says "Command Disabled"

Hovered over the button instead of rage clicking. Viewport must be closed. Sorry about that.
