What kind of format of HDRI is best to use ? spherical , etc.
HDRI I can not see a preview of rhino , how can I do?

when I create a material with a color map , bump or normal map , how can I choose which of these to display in preview ?

Lat/long (which is the most common format) - not spherical. http://render.otoy.com/manuals/Rhino/?page_id=466

You will need to add the Octane IBL texturemap as a Rhino background environment so it appears in the Rhino render preview. At some point this may be able to be automated (I will add it to the list). Alternatively- load the IBL into Rhino, tick the "Sync Octane Enviro to Rhino Enviro" option in the plugin Settings tree, and set the Octane "Environment" texture to an RGB Image, set the Octane "Environment"->"Projection" to "Spherical" and set the Y Rotation to 90 (and the Rhino Environment should be bought across).

There are some changing coming to this area.....stay tuned.....

Only the diffuse map displays at the moment. There has been much discussion on this, so some additional functionality may be added in the future.
