Hi,

I'm trying to texture up some light boxes. Basically i have a front panel with a texture that will emit light but i also want that surface to be glossy/ reflective.

i have tried using a mix material with a glossy material and a diffuse with a texture emission but its just not looking right.

i'm kind of looking for a perspex like finish that also emits light with a vignette. i have attached a photographic reference of the desired look.

Any help would be great?

hi,
you can use a specular material with sss+emission in the medium channel
here is a quick example, play with the SSS scale for balancing the emission: ciao beppe
