Tool for triangulating meshes

I have a stack of models on 3D World coverdisks that I'd like to use in Octane, but many of them cause it to crash when opening the mesh. I suspect it's because they might not be triangulated.
What's the best way to triangulate these models (while keeping any material assignments etc) for Octane with the software I have available (Blender, Meshlab, Hexagon 2.5)?

I don't think Octane strictly need triangulated mesh for import (I use the Blender script with triangulate disabled, and everything works fine). There might be other problems with your mesh, like lone vertices ("doubles")...??

Thanks for the tips. I'll try loading the meshes in Blender and using the plugin.
I knew I was going to end up re-learning Blender sometime. Darn

You can also use Meshlab to do many corrections to meshes without having to use Blender.
