current limitations

Hi, I would like to know what things I cant do with octane in modo..

I think procedurals are not supported yet but what things are missing in comparision to modos renderer ??

render passes (alpha masks & different render outputs), procedural textures, multiple UVs per mesh ... particles?

There is a demo version of the plugin, so you can find out for yourself. It is built against Octane 1.5, but if you need an Octane 2.0 demo build, let me know and I'll put one together.

Render Passes - Otoy have announced that this will be available in the Octane 2.? release - and I intend fully implementing it into the Modo plugin

Thanks for the answers but I dont know modo yet so cant try everything in the app to find the things that doesnt work.

I have found a list in the manual of the things not implemented yet but not sure if that is everything.

I big plus is how modo works in conjunction with mari and render in octane.
