Light emitters - colours

Hello,

i am new to octane and its DAZ Plugin. After playing around some days i am quite comfortable with it.
But some thing i had in DAZ i am not sure how to set it up in octane.

I know how to set a simple light emitter. I know that with diffuse , power and temperature i can adjust the colour. But to be true. I am not satisfied here.
If i lower temperature level it goes to yellow-orange-red ..
if i raise temperature level it gets a bit blueish.
Changing the power to that works fine. bringing the power to high end up in bright white light.

but my question is How for example do i create a simple green light ? I can change diffuse to green.
And play around with temperatur and power and i never gets any greenish light. Only from red-orange-yellow up to white and blueish (not blue).

Could anyone "enlight" me ? ;)

Did you try to use texture emitter instead of black body emitter?
For the texture emitter you can set the color in the "efficiency or texture" slot

PS:...enlight ...giggle :D

interesting thread... i am also new to octane and playing around for some days now, solved the biggest "problems" meanwhile

but one question still remains :D

in render settings -> imager sets -> response... is there a true color "neutral" option?
atm i use the preset agfa color hdc100, which has a little yellowish touch but easy to adjust with white balance. its not that important but would make a beginners life easier maybe :) or are there more of those presets available for download anywhere?
