Strange Rendering Issues upgrading from v1 to v2

I'm noticing some weird issues going on in V2 that I wasn't seeing in V1. Below i've linked before/after screenshots of two projects from Mike Winkelmann (aka Beeple), and the renders are very different between versions. Whats causing these issues? In the first one, I'm seeing a difference in the texture of the environment/floor. Supposed to be a stretched texture that creates a long streaky effect. In the second one, I'm just seeing incorrect colors for the emissions textures that were applied as well as lighting seems to have drastically changed.

v1 Renders:

v2 Renders:

You can download the project files for both of these projects to troubleshoot here:
http://www.beeple-crap.com/resources.php - Scroll down a little and look for "Pink Vynil" and "Exhaust".

Please let me know if anyone can figure out whats going on. I'd be happy to forward on any specs or answer any questions about the setups.

Hi Aoktar, thank you for the reply. Where can I learn more about these new texture mappings? And is there an easy way to change these, or do I need to redo textures for previous projects?
Thanks!

only documentation is standalone's and plugin manual. Forum may have extra info about it. But this is not complex. All texture types has projection and transform slots. I think that you can solve in a few minutes with some tests.
But if you have no time or feel this uncomfortable, please go with same version with project's.
