Maya Plugin Demo Version: Disable Default Light?

Hi,

We're currently evaluating Octane as a potential render solution for a project. I have downloaded and installed the trial version, and have gotten it to render fine.

However, I cannot seem to find any way to disable the default light in my renders (disabling the Maya default light in the render globals achieves nothing). As a result, even with just one light in my scene, my renders look like this:

When I'd expect them to look like this:

What's going on here? I can't find any settings regarding the default light in the Octane globals, and besides a simple sphere and area light, I'm not seeing any other nodes that could be causing this phantom fill light to appear.

You should add an Environment Node and set the Texture to black:

The default environment is neutral gray I think.

Cheers, that looks like it got it.
