Hi Karba,

I tried animation with network, but max render window show and save samples from master only,so render saved from max render window is more noisy then from octane render window.

When I wanted to use slave machine as single again, i stopped deamon, but octane rendered only some parts of geometry.

Hi Jan

What is the render time of a single frame? Do slaves have enough time to join the render process?

render time 3 min. 220 samples...yes they have i think. In the octane render window I noticed that they joined after cca 1 min. . Render time of single frame was quite same in both render windows. But frame from max window was very noisy, like computed on one card.

Sorry, that was my bad. The slaves are actually rendering and returning the results, but they are discarded and not integrated into the final result that is passed to the plugin. I have a fix for this problem, which is on the slave side. How urgent is the problem?

Hello,

A bit off topic but it pertains to net render, does the scene have to fit in slave's memory as well? or Octane just use the cores of the slaves to aid in render? (that would be so cool)

Example: can i have a scene that is 4gb in size to render on master with a titan for example, but have slaves on gtx590's to use their cores to aid in render speed?
