PolyFX + Octane ObjectTag Causes Crash Every Time

Hi,
I have an animation where only a few objects are moving (these objects use Mograph PolyFX with a plain effector animated to reveal the objects).
To render faster I set OctaneC4D to 'Resend only Updated Objects'. However the Octane ObjectTags, placed on each object which has a PolyFX effector, causes Cinema 4D to crash as soon as it starts to render, and the Octane C4D plugin is referenced in the error message. No settings are changed on the ObjectTag, apart from the mesh no. for each object.
It only seems to happen when the Octane ObjectTag is placed on a PolyFX object. If I remove the tag, it renders without crashing, but of course the moving objects do not render unless I change the render setting to 'Send All Scene Data'. This takes about 2 minutes extra per frame, so is far from ideal.
I have replicated this in different tests and it always seems that if an Octane ObjectTag is placed on a PolyFX object it crashes Cinema when starting rendering. Placing the PolyFX object in a Null and putting the ObjectTag on that makes no difference.
The ObjectTag works fine on other objects I have tested.
Spec: Win 7 Pro x64 (clean install) C4D R15 (clean install, no plugins), OctaneC4D 1.52.1, Intel E5-2690 2x10 core Xeons, 64GB RAM, 2xTitan Black GPUs
Thanks in advance!
